Week 1.2026

 I truly dove straight into a reading binge at the beginning of this year. I have been struggling to read The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien, and have decided to put it on a pause for a bit. I don’t know if it’s my headspace or the slower pace but I just cannot get through a chapter without being bored out of my mind. So I jumped into a billion romances to give my brain a break before I picked up anything else.

Welcome to The Book Cottage

 So long story short, I lost the site I was previously posting my book reviews on and this me trying on a “new outfit” so to speak. I loved having a short space to share my thoughts on what I’ve been reading but, since it was crashed I’d like to try something new. 

Here, I will do more weekly roundups of everything I’ve finished that week along with what I’m currently reading and books I’m looking forward to pick up soon.
